Hua Hin Beach

offers a spectacular beach with a picturesque backdrop of approaching hills. From here, you can get a pleasant scene of nature and friendly people. In the early morning, you can see a brilliant sunrise, and the pleasant sight of fishermen plying their trade at the pier. There are also numerous beach activities catered to tourists, including banana boating, parasailing and more. Horse riding on the beach is also a pleasant experience.

Khao Tao

The biggest attraction here is the delightful little bay and beach at Hat Sai Noi. Khao Tao also has an impressive temple complex with several caves, many Buddha statues, shrines, fishing village, fresh water lake and lookouts.
Khao Takiab

The hill is known as "Monkey Mountain" due to large numbers of monkeys (macaques) that are resident there.
The beach behind the hill of Khao Takiab is a great place to spend late afternoon. Large expanses of open sand and shallow waters are ideal for kids and beach games. You can get great views from the top of the temple at Khao Takiab

   
Khao Sam Roi Yod National Park

Khao Sam Roi Yod is about 60 km. south of Hua Hin and boasts magnificent grey limestone mountains rising dramatically from the Gulf of Thailand and some picturesque islands. From these features, the park's name of "300 Peaks" derives. Wildlife includes deer, serow, macaques, dolphins, slow loris, porcupine, mongoose and langur. Khao Sam Roi Yod National Park is the bird-watchers 's paradise. Khao Sam Roi Yod also offers quiet white-sand beaches and three notable caves in the limestone hills. Tham Kaew, Tham Sai, and Tham Phraya Nakhon, the latter being the largest one, made up of 2 caverns and a pavilion, which was built in 1896 for a visit of King Rama V. Viewed in the early morning when the first light breaks through the openings in the roof of the cave, this pavilion is a spectacular and often photographed sight.

   
Hua Hin Railway Station

The Thai Royal Family used to visit Hua Hin regularly by train, so the railway station is steeped in history. It's well worth while taking a look around and seeing The Royal Waiting Room and a fine example of an old steam locomotive. The station is situated at the top (Western) end of Damnoern Kasem Road.

   
Chat Chai Market

Chat Chai market is just along from the night market and is mostly undercover. Here you can buy fruit, vegetables, fish, and meat at local prices.

   
Hua Hin Market Village

Hua Hin Market Village is the town's first major shopping mall. Situated some 2km south of the center on Petchkasem Road, it offers ample parking facilities and a good range of fashion outlets, food courts and smaller local shops and stalls.

   
Hin Lek Fai

For more spectacular views over Hua Hin head up to Hin Lek Fai, just 3 km. west of town. The best time to visit is late evening when the sun is going down. You can take a car or bike to the top or walk it if you’re feeling fit. The point has four or five separate look outs and is a popular spot with the locals.

   
Pala-U Waterfall

The Pa La U Waterfall is part of the Kaeng Krachan National Park. It is located about 60 Km west of Hua Hin, near the Burmese border. The Pa La U Waterfall with its 16 steps is one of the biggest waterfalls in Thailand. The surrounding forest is over a thousand years old and is filled with rare wild animals. You will experience the beautiful waterfall and jungle surroundings where wild monkeys and birds can be heard and sometimes spotted.

   
Snorkeling Koh Talu

Talu Island is just 15 – 20 Minutes off coast from Bangsaphan, the island is renowned for its sparkling clear waters and abundant coral reefs. A great place for diving, fishing and relaxing far from the crowds.

   
Maruekatayawan Palace

Maruekatayawan Palace is one of the oldest and most attractive royal Palaces in Thailand. Maruekatayawan Palace was constructed by His Majesty King Vajiravudh (Rama VI) in 1923 as a place where he could fully relax in great comfort amid a naturally serene atmosphere. The architectural design of the raised-floor wooden palace, with its three sections facing the sea, was drafted by the Monarch himself. Following the completion of the interior decoration in 1924, the King gave it his first visit and stay. His last visit to this seaside palace was made only a few months before his demise in 1925.

Shopping in Hua-Hin

Souvenir shops can be found in the town of Hua Hin, mostly on Naret Damri road, Decha Nuchit road, Chomsin road, Damnoen Kasem road, and in the nearby areas. Some best buys include the printed cotton and silk fabric called Khommaphat, woman’s accessories, antique and art, house wares made of coconut shells, handicrafts, dried seafood, pineapples, coconuts, and a variety of processed fruits. The famous night market is located in the centre of Hua-Hin town and is open every evening.
